SERVICES · MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT

Evidence-based support for anxiety, depression, trauma and emotional distress.

Thoughtful, paced therapy for the parts of life that feel heavy, stuck, or harder than they should be.

If you've been carrying anxiety, low mood, burnout, or the after-effects of difficult experiences, you don't have to keep doing it alone. Therapy here is unhurried, evidence-informed, and respectful of your beliefs and values. I aim to create a safe space, and take it at your pace.

YOU MIGHT BE EXPERIENCING

The feelings that lead people to seek therapy.

If even a few of these sound familiar, mental health support may be a good place to begin.

— Anxiety, worry, or constant overthinking

— Burnout, exhaustion, and not coping

— Grief, loss, or a life transition that is hard

— Difficulty sleeping, eating, or looking after yourself

— Low mood, flat days, or losing interest in things

— Panic, racing heart, or a body that won't settle

— Trauma reactions, intrusive memories, or feeling on edge

— Feeling stuck, lost, or not yourself

ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT

People come to therapy for many reasons. Sometimes a clear crisis, sometimes a quiet sense that something isn't right, that anxiety has crept into too much of life, or that the weight has simply gone on too long. Wherever you're starting from, our first work together is to listen carefully: to what you're experiencing now, to the patterns and pressures around it, and to what you hope might shift.

My aim is not to rush you toward a quick fix, but to help you make sense of what's happening and find an approach that genuinely fits. I work with adults across Australia. You don't need to arrive with the right words, a diagnosis, or a clear sense of what's going on — that's part of what we do here. The first session is about hearing your story; from there, we shape the work in a way that is consistent with your beliefs and values and feels comfortable for you.

A space to slow down and be properly heard

"Therapy is less about being fixed and more about being met — and finding your way to what comes next, on your terms."

ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT

Therapeutic approaches that I draw on during therapy

No single therapy fits every person or every problem. I'll suggest, talk through, and adjust based on what's most useful — these are the frameworks I lean on most.

ADDRESSING EMOTIONAL BLUEPRINTS

SCHEMA THERAPY

Schema therapy is helpful for long-standing patterns — the ones that started early and keep replaying. We look at the core emotional needs that weren't met, identify schemas (thought patterns linked to emotional and somatic responses), map them, understand them, and work to change them. It's emotionally reparative work.

COGNITIVE & BEHAVIOURAL

CBT, ERP, & ACT

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy are practical approaches for working on thought patterns, avoidance behaviours, and aligning your actions with what matters to you. ERP is particularly helpful for the treatment of OCD and scrupulosity.

TRAUMA-FOCUSED

EMDR & TRAUMA WORK

EMDR and other trauma therapies use paced processing of difficult memories and associated body responses. This work is always optional and won't be pursued if it conflicts with a client's faith or what they feel comfortable with. Schema Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) are also helpful for trauma work.
